He joined a major automotive supply chain business where he helped introduce what was then ground-breaking, computerised materials management systems before rising to Manufacturing Manager. During this time, Graham gained professional recognition as a Chartered Engineer and was awarded a Master of Arts degree.
Graham held other senior positions in the automotive industry before taking over as Managing Director of a private high tech plastic business. He went on to lead Coventry City Council’s business investment and support activities delivering a range of economic development initiatives. The work focussed on business and partner relationships, bidding for funding, investment grants, international trade and investment and key infrastructure projects such as vehicle electrification and high speed broadband.
After retiring from the Council in Jun 2015, Graham joined the board of CWRT and took over operational control of business as Chief Executive in July 2016.
