Creative Warwickshire is a unique programme delivered as part of the Inclusive Enterprise Programme, aimed at creative and digital freelancers and businesses who have ambitions to grow their businesses, develop new markets and enhance their business skills.
The programme comprises of the following:
|Diagnostic sessions||Each participant is assigned a timeslot where they will talk one-to-one with the Programme’s Consultant Director about their business and the success they want to achieve through the programme.
This is not a ‘one size fits all’ course so we use the diagnostic session to assess the needs of the participant, and tailor the programme appropriately to ensure that they get the most out of it.
|2 x ½ day training workshops
|A ½ day group training workshops carried out by experienced sector specific trainers…
Workshop 1: ‘Innovation for Your Business’ – a practical and interactive workshop in unlocking latent innovation, USP & IP.
Workshop 2: ‘Access to Finance – Investment Readiness’ – a practical and interactive workshop on finance options for business and making your business investment ready.
|2 x 2-day training Session||Held on Thursday’s and Friday’s – one 2-day session in April 2017 and one 2-day session in June 2017 where you will have intensive support and development in a number of key themes to support your ability to grow your creative vision and put it into business practice.|
|Masterclasses and networking events||A series of networking events and evening speaker events which will also be open to the general public. The classes will feature inspirational talks from key leaders from across the UK.|
The programme is free. The investment required from you is your time, energy and commitment to documenting your learning and insights.

Why are we running this programme?
The prevailing enterprise culture of the region does not recognise the particular challenges of digital and creative businesses. Mainstream business support programmes are neither geared to the diverse needs of different client groups, nor to the more intensive, client-led support that many digital and creative businesses need.
Following the demise of publicly-funded specialist business support there is no agency offering a needs-led, ‘transformational’ business service to this sector, therefore, with Leamington Spa being identified as one of the top 20 Creative Clusters in the UK (‘The Geography of Creativity’, NESTA/Creative England, 2016), we hope that this programme will contribute to the continuing development of the sub-region as a powerhouse of national activity.
With training, network and investment opportunities and working closely with partners such as the LEP, the universities, the BIDs and the sector as a whole we can create a new, energetic and dynamic group of business who can significantly grow their creative businesses in an international economy as well as creating jobs and opportunities for growth within the region.
